Discrimination of or against a group or a person is the consideration or treatment classified based on the category of class without considering their individual merits and their track records. It mostly related to prejudice. It can promote only certain groups by suppressing the other groups. It is often regarded as redlining.

Difference between unlawful and lawful discrimination in Chicago has drawn attention of many peoples. Unlawful discrimination may classify into subtle or direct. Direct discrimination is treating a person with his personal affairs. The personal affairs may be religion, race, color, sex, age, family status, economic status, disability. These types of personal affairs when compared with one who are not well versed in those affairs will lead to discrimination.

Subtle or indirect discrimination is the most commonly adopted method in Chicago. This discrimination is that to set a condition to which those small portions can be included and then are neglected. But the discrimination due to race, religion is decreasing at a slower rate. The people are refreshing themselves with their own knowledge. Lots of decisions which are made in the court are said to be discriminatory. You may prefer car to bike. In that case the bike owner has no civil rights to overcome you because the type of discrimination is a matter of your own, i.e. personal choice.
